camera

1 more day until my new camera arrives! yea! it should be here tomorrow, just in time for a big family weekend. my nephew is being baptized and brooke & jan are coming in from colorado. i will have lots of great opportunities for practicing my photography, albeit very amateur photography. i would really like to take a class before we move so i can learn more about photography, lighting, my camera, etc. there will be ample opportunities for great photographs in central europe! i can't wait! hopefully the class will work out. i almost forgot to mention what kind of camera i'm getting. it's my first digital SLR camera, the nikon d40. so exciting! i think i am looking forward to the instant picture the most. the camera takes a picture just as you hit the button...no delay! i will probably still have to delete a lot of photos b/c taking pics of a toddler isn't the easiest, but maybe not as many as i do now. i have loved my sony cybershot 3.2 megapixel camera and won't get rid of it b/c it's so nice and small, but hopefully you will be able to tell a difference in the photos i post.

funny, i'm talking all about a new camera, but this post has no photos. go figure.
