szentendre

we enjoyed a 4 day weekend with matt off from work. all saints day is a national holiday here, so we took advantage to explore more of the city and beyond. saturday we took a little day trip to the small town of szentendre, a 40 minute train ride north of budapest. the town is known for its skyline of church spires, cobblestone streets, and art museums and galleries. it was a beautiful day to get out of the city. we enjoyed exploring the tight alleyways and cobblestone streets, sitting along the danube river, peeking in a few churches and coffee at a café.
