small update
baby dowiak is due in 5 weeks! ah! i have NOTHING ready! nothing like waiting until the last minute, right?! that's top on my to do list this week. we need furniture, a bed, clothes washed, newborn diapers and all that stuff. i should just throw in all the newborn clothes i have with all the laundry i'm doing today and tomorrow. yes, good idea. as for the bed...if the baby comes before the beginning of july we will have to find a spot for him/her to sleep. the swing or bouncy seat maybe? or the little bathtub with a blanket in the bottom??? i don't know. my mom is bringing the bed (a pack-n-play) when she comes out. i'm not ready for reese to be out of the crib yet, so we are doing the temporary thing for baby #2. hopefully by the end of the year i'll transition reese to the big girl bed and the baby can have the crib. we'll see. at any rate, i'm ready to not be pregnant anymore, but not quite ready to take on two kids and the lack of sleep. we are however getting more and more excited to find out if it's a boy or girl! up until the last couple of weeks i've thought boy, but now i'm thinking girl. matt's picked boy, i think. we'll keep you posted!

I cannot believe you're due in 5 weeks! This has just flown . . . of course, I'm not the one carrying the baby and chasing the toddler. I'm sure it hasn't been quite as fast for you :) We can't wait to meet a new cousin!
Where to put the baby??? Mathew's great grandma, living in a two bedroom house with 10 kids (additional bunk beds for the boys in the attic), made a temporary make-shift cradle in a dresser drawer. She padded the bottom and sides with soft blankets; it was a perfect size for about 1-2 months.
Crazy but true !
girl, it has flown by! i do kind of feel like i've been pregnant forever, but now that the end is near i feel like it's gone fast.
grandma, i have definitely thought of that. a laundry basket could work as well. :)
hi Hilary!!
I miss you! come back! I can't believe you are so close. YOu know, Lainey slept in her car seat carrier for the first couple of months...don't know if you have that there, but it was all she would sleep in... And Alex's mom did the dresser drawer with one of her babies....
email me sometime!!
