reese and i were totally out numbered for about a week and a half and we loved it! we enjoyed having lucas and nathan in our home. they had a great chill-out aura about them and we felt it. matt and i both agree that it's nice to chill out with family. we miss that.
our living room was filled with two air mattresses which reese loved! she asked for uncle lucas and uncle nathan first thing every morning and got to wake them up with jumps on their beds. as much as they would have liked to sleep longer, i told them to just be thankful she doesn't get up until 8:30! it could be much worse.
the uncles did what uncles do best...spoil their nieces and nephews! well, matson's a little young yet, but reese loved it! uncle lucas's specialty was showing reese lots of barney videos on the computer and uncle nathan's specialty was ice cream! so cute!
i think the guys had a good time here. they kept matt up watching movies at night and then slept in while matt had to get up and go to work. let's just say matt was only a little jealous of that!
zoned out! wait, zoned in! whatever, they are totally into whichever movie they are watching!
we enjoyed dinners in and out with them. they had some amazing weather to explore budapest. the bros got to kick the football around on margitsziget a couple of times. (matt loved it!) we hooked them up with some hungarian girls we know to take them out for a beer one evening. we all met matt for lunch one day up by his work. and then, one day when our home was being invaded by nine children ages three and under and five moms for "rhyme time" the guys vacated and met matt and some of his colleagues for lunch again. we also welcomed a college buddy of lucas's for the weekend from prague.
matson got some uncle time too! sorry for the fist full of hair that matson got of yours uncle luke!
