shopping cart fun

even though i'm not a huge fan of taking both of my kids to the grocery store with me, i do it. and, it's not that bad at all. as long as i have food for them they ride along quite content. i do have to choose the right time to go though. fully rested children make for better grocery shopping experiences.



and yes, i have to push the big ol' shopping carts with the car on the front! that's not too bad either. i've gotten used to it. reese drives the car and matson sits up with me. the special treat for reese at the store is fruit chews. they keep her so happy.

my mom took this at lowe's a while back. obviously, they are wearing sweaters! i just hadn't gotten to posting it. i can't believe matson is old enough to be in one of these seats! he needs the shoulder straps though. he's houdini when it comes to getting out of straps!



i wish i had my camera with me yesterday. these two looked a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e sitting in the shopping cart together. the car cart has two seats in the front of the cart (like by the handles) so reese wanted to sit up with matson. they each had their snack in hand and sat so quietly with their cute feet dangling at different lengths and their big blue eyes watching the hustle and bustle of the store. i just have to say that i have the cutest kids EVER! just like every momma does. :)
