this week's water adventure

this week's water adventure was to a spray park in a friend's neighborhood. matson was all about crawling through the water until he sat up and the water was spraying his face. :( poor thing didn't know to turn the other way or move. after that he stuck with the small water fountains like in the second pic.




reese on the other hand was not so interested. she did walk through the little fountains for a few minutes, but i think the idea of water spraying at her face/head wasn't very appealing. i can understand. i don't like that the day after i wash my hair (get an amen from some other "hair-straightening-people" out there!), but this day was not a "newly-washed-hair" day, so i don't know why i didn't go through the water! oh wait, maybe it had something to do with the white shirt i was wearing.





i'm still thinking about how refreshing it would have felt to run through the water on that hot day! heck, i might just put on the sprinklers and run through this afternoon b/c i'm HOT after 30 minutes of pulling weeds in the hot sun!
