etsy + giveaways

several weeks ago i had the privilege of winning my very first blog giveaway.

do you know about blog giveaways? if you are any thing like me and get sucked into going from blog to blog to blog and soon you are lost in the blog world and you don't even remember how you got to where you are, you probably know what i'm talking about. BUT if you don't, here's the deal... some bloggers like to give away things on their blogs to their readers. i think people have different reason for doing this, but i like the ones where bloggers want to promote something they really like. all the reader has to do is make a comment in the comment section and then the blogger randomly selects a number, counts down the list of comments until she gets to the number who is the winner. easy. so, one day i stumbled upon (i really can't remember how i found it) the blog lovely by m and i loved the stationary she was giving away, so i entered and won! i was ecstatic! i couldn't believe it, the first time i entered a giveaway i won! i received the opportunity to pick $20 worth of personalized stationary from the etsy seller whisker graphics. (if you are unfamiliar with etsy it is an online community of designers and artists selling handmade products.) whitney, from whisker graphics, has so many great options, but i finally decided on this one. (personalized with my name though.) since i couldn't decide on the pink+orange or blue+green i asked for five of both and she sent them right over. aren't they beautiful?!
