first day :: preschool

reese's first day of preschool {and mine!} couldn't have gone better this morning. first, for me, matson didn't get up until 7:00 {always love that!} and was an angel all morning. reesey woke up at 7:30 and talked about how sneaky small bear was because we couldn't find him. he was all wrapped up in the sheets. i can't believe she didn't want to take him in the car with her to school. instead she chose this little cat that she doesn't play with very often. say "preschool!"

the cat and a doll are in the little pink purse she picked out. she's also handling her bag with our first at-home-project and her purple lunch box. i'm glad i got this picture b/c she wasn't too interested in me taking pictures this morning.



we wore our matching VBS necklaces today. i admit i didn't wear mine the entire morning. i took it off after i got to the doctor's office, but put it back on to pick her up.
we took pictures outside the school in front of the sign and then went into the building. i started to get a little teary walking down the hall, but held it together. she was a little clingy, but had no problem saying goodbye and walked in to put her lunch box away. i walked away and didn't look back so she didn't see me and want to run out. i really didn't get a chance to talk to the teacher, but reese says she had a good day. i'm so glad. now she's taking a great nap! i hope to find out more about her day after nap time.
