the party

right after we got back from the beach i had to plan the kids' birthday party, which i could only really think about after we returned from the beach. the party was super fun! we had a bouncy house in the backyard to wear them out, yummy homemade rainbow cake to sweeten them up and a few friends and family to share it all with. the kids had a ball!

it's now become a tradition to take the kids picture under these signs. i made the "happy birthday" sign for reese's first birthday and then the "reese + matson" one last year. it was so easy to pull them out again this year.
