the pumpkin patch

i couldn't let fall harvest go by without a few pictures in a pumpkin patch! the kids and i met up with some friends from reese's school for some pumpkin pictures and then playing at pumpkin park across the street. how appropriate.  i first have to confess though that i didn't have the best attitude for this photo opp. the kids wouldn't cooperate with me for a few pics and matson kept running off, so i was not happy, but then i got home and looked at the photos during nap time and was pleasantly surprised that i got some great shots! as soon as the kids got up from naps i apologized. this mom does that a lot.

so without further ado, our fall 2010 pumpkin patch pics!

this is where matson was contemplating how to get on the other side of the fence. he did in fact make it too. it was pretty scary. there is a very busy road on the other side of the sidewalk, so i prayed he wouldn't veer right and ran like a crazy woman after him. he thought it was funny. my heart was in my throat. he got in trouble. we left.

how did i get him to smile so cute for these pics? i sat on a pumpkin. he thought it was hysterical. whatever works.

this was the best i could do for a sibling shot.

i turned this run-from-mommy "game" into a cute photo opp documenting where we were for the pumpkin patch.

happy fall. 

hopefully it feels more like fall where you live. it's still hot here. :(
