candy, candy, candy and three little gingerbread houses

my friend stacey invited the kids and me over for a little gingerbread house decorating last week. she's so fabulous that she made all 12 houses (there were other people besides us) and icing from scratch and all we had to bring was the candy. the kids put more candy in their mouths than on their houses.

i on the other hand went a little crazy with the candy on my house. stacey was so smart to give the moms their own house to decorate. why she thought the moms might hover and advise their kids, i don't know! ;)

thanks for having us stacey! i can still smell baked gingerbread houses when i walk past them. what a wonderful christmas smell.
