a new favorite photo

this is on of my new favorite photos that reese and i took a couple of weeks ago. i have a tree growing out the top of my head, but i wouldn't trade this shot for anything! i put the camera on the grass, propped the lens up with the lens cap, set the self-timer and ran around to lay next to my reesey-boo. i was shocked and thrilled at how great it worked!

i mentioned in a previous post that reese is coming around to looking at the camera. this is my most recent strategy: i have the screensaver on our computer on a slideshow of pictures and we watch it all the time. the kids love yelling out who is in the pictures as they pop up. so, i told her that if she doesn't look at the camera then i won't have any pictures for our slideshow and i know how much she loves to watch it. it worked like a charm!
