4 months

I read a blog post the other day of a photographer I follow online and she used the perfect words to describe how fast her baby is growing - warp speed. Layla seems to be growing at warp speed. I can't believe she is already four months old! It seems my life is flying by at warp speed too. The days are so full with little to no time for myself that by the time everyone is in bed, the dishes are done, lunches are made and I've showered, all I want to do is veg out on the couch, which typically leads to me falling asleep on the couch. It's hard to keep up with everything, but I managed to take Layla's four month pictures a few days late b/c I really want them. And, I really want to keep up my blog, so I will do it when I can. Miss L is still a sweet and content lovable baby.  

She is a chunk. She is 15 lbs 13 oz (90%) and 24 3/4" long (70%). 

She is a 100% breastfed baby. I must produce some rich milk to keep up with those cheeks and thighs!

She wears 6 month clothes and 9 month pjs.

She sleeps 11+ hours at night, with one dream feed at 10:15ish before I go to bed.

She still loves the swaddle.  

Lately she's been wiggling out of the swaddle around 6:00 am but then she doesn't like being out of the swaddle. When she cries I go in, swaddle her back up and pop in the paci. She goes back to sleep. I then wake her up at 7:30 for her first feeding of the day. 

She takes the paci sometimes.

She grabs anything you put in front of her, especially if it rattle or squeaks. 

She's curious while she's eating - not always very pleasant for me. 

She's holding her head up so much better these days. Those cheeks do get heavy when she's tired though. :)

She is full of smiles, giggles, babbles, squeaks and squeals.
