Glamping (part 2)

"Follow that truck!"
As soon as we pulled out of the Brenham airport to the main highway, we saw what we wanted...ICE CREAM! The Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory is a really impressive place and pretty much THE ONLY ice cream to eat down here. It's distribution has widened, so it's available other places, so we are glad more of the country can enjoy this yummy treat.  We went on a tour last year and had to do it again. It still gets five stars!
Gram had the honor of giving Layla her first taste of ice cream, as a grandmother should. Blue Bell is the best and only the best for my girl! I'm thinking she wasn't a fan of the cold b/c there is no way she came out of my tummy and doesn't like Blue Bell! :)
A quick snap of Gram with the grandkiddos. (My perfectionist tendencies wants to clean this photo up and remove the nursing cover and napkin dispensers!)
I don't know what kinds everyone else had, but my southern blackberry cobbler with bits of pie crust in it was DELISH! (Side story: Reese said something was delish the other day so I asked her if she knew what word that was short for and she responded with great enthusiasm "YUMMMM!" Matt and I died laughing! How adorable.)

We took a picture of the kids in this window last year so we thought we'd make it a tradition. Matson and Reese adore their cousins.
This year we added one more...
They were all hyped up on sugar
and so excited to have Layla with them this year.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!
 Awe...what a sweet girl!!

Gram is one proud grandmother, especially taking all these grandkids to the ice cream factory! :)

Stay tuned for more!
