Layla is one!

Layla  turned one on January 7th.  

She did not want the birthday crown on at all, but I caught a few pictures.

Clapping helped distract her. 

I made the crown out of felt. I'll keep it for when she's into dress up.

Gram was teaching Layla to put the fabric back in the box. That's a home-made toy made out of an empty kleenex box and different textured fabric squares. She was very into it right at her birthday, but now not so much.

Matt was holding her hands down so she couldn't get the candle. One of the big kids helped blow the candle out for her. And then she inhaled the cupcake in less than five minutes!

What can I say, she takes after her momma having a huge sweet tooth.
