Dada is a favorite of Layla's. When he gets home from work she's usually in her booster seat. She can see him through the window as he unlocks the front door. When he gets through the door she immediately puckers up for a kiss from Dada. She knows he gives us all kisses when he walks through the door. It sort of melts his heart! :)
Layla walks round with books all the time. She'll sit still in your lap for about 10 seconds to flip through a book, then walk off and come back and walk off and come back. Ya get the point.
Bellybuttons have been big for a little while now. Of course lifting our shirts is fun, but she also loves it when Reese and Matson lay on the floor and she can slap their bellies. They laugh and she does it more. It's really cute.

Hello, I just wanted to say that you are a truly talented photographer. We dont know eachother; in fact I came across your blog by accident when I was searching for another dowiak acquaintance of mine. Please don’t let this disturb you but I have now and then kept up with your family blog. I am a new mother myself, I have a 5mo old, and I have just admired your photos. They seem so crisp and clear and the photos capture the colors and details very well. I have an slr camera and hope to be able to capture great images of my baby too. If you had like 10 simple photography tips I would love to hear them in an email or maybe you can do a blog post{ I know other moms would love the photo advice}. I have taken a class before and got the introduction on things like Fstop and ISO and I guess I haven’t put it in practice enough to get good quality pics yet. I must know what settings on your camera do you use, or is it in your photo software? – cheers, vanessa
