she hasn't been eating her apples, i guess. or she just caught what lots of other kiddos around here have. little reese had to visit the doctor yesterday. after many days of a runny nose and cough we decided we needed the pediatrician's help. bronchitis was confirmed. :( but, on to the positives about the visit...i really liked the pediatrician! she is about my parent's age and was so good with reese. she was a ton better than our doctor back in houston. she let reese get comfortable in the room before poking and prodding at her. she had toys out for her to play with while she listen to her lungs and looked in her ears. the only downer part of it was reese hated when the doc had to look in her mouth. it was over like that though, so no big deal. this is the part i couldn't believe...the doc picked reese up and let her sit on her lap at the computer! she let reese have full access to the keyboard and boy did she take advantage of it! too cute. the doc was so nice to me. she gave me some prescriptions for reese and since i hadn't been to the pharmacy in budapest yet, she answered all my questions. so nice. that's another big check off the list. we've found a pediatrician that we like! yea!
we walked around the corner to the pharmacy and had another great experience. i'm so glad the doc told me about that pharmacy. the pharmacist spoke english to me and made sure i knew what to do with the medications and it was just so pleasant!
a note about the doctor's offices here: they take you at your appointed time. no waiting around in the waiting room. if your appointment is at 3:00, you go in at 3:00. when you are called back you are taken directly to the doctor and don't have to mess with the nurse and then wait again for the doc. the doctor's desk is right in the exam room and everything is done right there. i think the american doctor's office could learn a thing or two!

I'm so glad you found a Dr. you like for Reese! It makes such a difference!
full access to the computer keyboard? i'm sure that got the cure kick-started. and a doctor taking a patient on time--that's just too much to believe! (just kidding, and apologies to your doctor friends). anyway, glad your experience was so positive.
a pediatrician who runs on time! it just makes too much sense :) i'm so glad you found someone you like!
