we made it to midnight on new year's eve! i feel like that's quite an accomplishment since we are in bed around 10:30 every night. reese joined us about 1:30 because there were so many firecrackers going off that she woke up (or maybe we were being too loud). we had great company to keep us up. lee + bori came over for dinner and games. we had a great time eating potato chowder for dinner and somlói galuska for dessert and then playing nintendo. somlói galuska is a traditional hungarian dessert much like sponge cake with chocolate pudding and whipped cream. it's delicious!
