{she wouldn't look at the camera.}
it's confirmed. reesey is a big girl. she now goes to a sunday school class at church where there is a lesson and everything! she's been twice now and loves it. when we go to pick her up she gives us the lesson paper she's put stickers on and colored. it's really sweet.
reese is quiet the handful these days. the best way for me to describe her is...she's two. does that say it all? :) i love my little girl and love spending time with her, but boy do i let out a big sigh when she goes to sleep. she is a typical two year old who is on the go, wants to do everything herself and does the opposite of everything i say. i can not stress the word everything enough. i say up, she says down, i say yes, she says no, i say in, she says out, i say stop it, she does it anyway, i say come here, she runs away...you get the point. all this testing is really tiring and frustrating especially for parents who are already tired from not getting the sleep they were once used to. she spends time in "time out" on the single bed in her room several times a day and then has to say she's sorry once her two minutes are up. sometimes she's quick to say sorry, sometimes not. sometimes it's said with an attitude and sometimes it's sincere. as tough as it is, i'm staying on her. it's a big challenge and i feel like a "mean mom" simply because i don't let her get away with a lot but i know (and hope) it will pay off in the long run. i try to show her grace and at the same time teach her. it's a hard task.
{she has her mother's wild + thick hair.

she is a smart little girl and talks a lot. she knows her colors and is learning her letters. she says "letters make sounds." and then we make all the sounds - it's pretty fun. she's learning all this from a leap frog dvd that gram gave her. she can sing "jesus loves me. bible tells me. he strong." she's working on several other songs, but that's the best one right now. her favorite tv show is barney. yes, we get barney in budapest. 3 times a day in fact. lucky us, huh?! another show she likes is angelina ballerina. her favorite nursery rhymes are georgie pordgie (from your blog katie) and "dumpty dumpty". she can scale the climbing wall at the park to the slide all by herself. and, she loves piggyback rides.
okay, that's all i can think of right now. we love our reesey boo!

Wow! Reese is a big girl! She sounds so much like Lilly :)
It sounds like you are handling the "terrific" two's like a champ. I love the way you describe her doing exactly the opposite. So true. My favorite thing these days is when Lilly is going to bed, she asks, "Do I wear you out?"
O, and Reese is lucky to get your hair!
