stop and talk

the other day i was watching through the front windows of our house as matt took the kids on a little bike ride around the block while i cooked dinner in peace. (thank you, matt, for every time you do that!!) i heard him say to the kids, "okay, let's stop and talk." and then he proceeded to go over the rules before they left on their adventure, which is usually an adventure with these two. i sneaked outside to capture the moment. the kids didn't even know i was out there. i love how they are intently listening to him lay down the law.

i should note that they came back with matt holding a screaming matson in one arm and the kismoto in the other. matson is usually the one who doesn't listen. apparently it's hard being two!
