summer swimming

it seems that the theme of the our summer is "escape the heat". it is so unbelievably hot here. if you don't live in texas you really have no idea what hot is - seriously. okay, maybe you desert people ;) but i should say we do survive!

anyway, another way we've accomplished escaping the heat is in water, of course! we've been swimming a lot this summer with the most recent being at my brother's pool while the kids and i spent a week at my parent's. since i haven't taken a ton of pictures over the summer i did on this particular day.

brody and emersyn are such fun cousins! we loved swimming and playing with them that week. 

uncle e was the best launcher. he must have thrown reese up over a dozen times. what a good workout. she LOVED it!

even little emersyn loved being launched. 

both girls loved it, the boys not so much. what's up with that? :)
