Glamping (part 5)

Swimming pools and water slides are not the only type of water fun at Jellystone. Water balloons are LOADS of fun!
When we were packing for this trip the kids found the water balloons I had laying with all our stuff. It took them all of 20 seconds to start planning their attack on Daddio. They remembered throwing balloons at him last year and how he got all muddy from it. He was sitting in some sand so any balloons that didn't quite make it to him splashed him with mud - just about as fun as hitting him with water.
Matt said the water balloons were his favorite part of this trip.
He and I started filling them up during the kids rest time in the afternoon just in time for the wet-n-wild hayride.
Reese and Brody didn't actually sleep during nap time like Matson and Emersyn, so they got to joined in the fun. Not to worry though we saved them some balloons for when they woke up. I just didn't get pictures of it. (Reese is so proud she can cross her eyes.)

 Waiting to attack.
The wet-n-wild hayride set up is kids and parents piling in this trailer with their water guns and water balloons and at a snails pace move around the camp spraying water, throwing water balloons and inviting a response. Campers respond their own ammo.

Jessica pulled Emersyn out of bed for the tail end of the water fight, but I don't think she was quite awake and ready for the water fun. Like a good mom, Jessica ran away with her.

It took me several posts to get all these pictures up but they are all up, and in record time probably. There was more to our trip like unexpected laundry, the night time movies, popcorn, playing in the cabin lofts, the fire truck spraying water, and more I can't think of right now, but this pretty much sums it up. Jessica posted some pictures from her camera on her blog so be sure to check those out too. She has some cute ones of the kids soaked from the water balloon fight.

Thanks for a wonderful time, guys! That'll be a hard trip to beat!
