i forgot to tell you about our sunday dinner. we decided to follow our sunday evening tradition to have pizza for dinner, so we found the frozen pizza isle at tesco. you'll never believe what we saw! there was a brand called "big american" and the flavor was "texas style"! how embarrassing! i wonder what hungarians really think of americans! we really couldn't believe what we were seeing! anyway, i'm not sure what brand we chose, but when it came time to put it in the oven, we flipped the box over to find the instructions in 13 different languages, not one of them in english! seriously, 13 languages!...hungarian, italian, spanish, russian, german, french, slovakian, slovenian, polish, ukranian and i don't even know the rest, but there was no english! no little UK flag! what's up with that?
of course, we figured it out, cooked our pizza and ate, but this is just another one of are our adventures.

one small step i left out: converting celsius to fahrenheit. i've already memorized that 350F is 180C.
a fellow ex-pat gave me a laminated sheet with measurements and conversions. celsius to fahrenheit, kilo to pounds, liter to cups, gram to ounces, etc. it's already come in handy!
