yea!!

we are scheduled to move into our flat tomorrow! ...exactly one month after we arrived in budapest! (we can't believe we've been here a month! time flies!!) our air freight has cleared customs and will be ready for delivery tomorrow!! this is SUPER exciting for me because i'm pretty ready to get settled and have different clothes to wear! hotel living is okay for a while, but it's time to move on. i will, however, miss the daily housekeeping. do you think they will come with me??? it has been so nice to leave for the afternoon and come back to a clean kitchen, washed dishes, made beds, fresh towels, and vacuumed carpet! i guess it's time for me to put on my domestic hat again. it's been a nice break.

matt will be off tomorrow to be home with us while the movers bring our stuff and unpack it. yes, you read right. they will UNPACK it for us! basically i want them to do this so i can assess any damage while they are there. hopefully nothing broke, but somethings bound to through the journey across the atlantic.

one downside to moving into our flat: we will be without internet access for a while. :( i'm not sure how long, but hopefully not too long! a realistic expectation is three weeks. that's so long, you say? i know!! tell me about it! i will just have to find the closest internet cafe to connect with you all. sounds kind of fun to get a cup of coffee and a pastry or two at a cafe and check email while people watching. oh wait, reality is setting in...i have a toddler.

fyi: this means our houston phone number will not work until we have the internet. :( please email me with updates on your lives so i can stay up with you all! it will be much more fun to check email at a cafe and actually have some emails to read! :) szia for a while!

finally i'm back up to date with you guys! sorry i was mia for the past few weeks. we think about you guys everyday and send prayers that you continue to meet new people who help you thru the transition. it sounds like the Lord is really working to bring these people into your life already. good luck on your move!! i'll send some emails :) btw: if you can believe it i had a hat similar to reese's when we lived in csco! it totally helps!
