saturday we took a bus over to the buda side of budapest to a little cave that was discovered in the 1930's. it's a cool cave, but the thing i thought was the coolest was that it's in the middle of a neighborhood. there were some really neat + big houses up on that hill. it was fun to see a different part of budapest.
reese made friends with our waiter. every time he would leave our table she would tell him bye and then make sweet faces at him and another waiter who were standing off to the side. they ate it up! and then, our waiter was so nice and brought reese a toy to play with. that entertained her for about 20 more minutes!
we had our first run in with the police getting ready for a demonstration. when we walked around the corner to the street where iguana's is, there was a big fence up and all these police with shields and stuff! whoa! we weren't sure we were going to get any tex mex! we asked the police if we could go through the gates to iguana's and they said yes. after we past the fence we saw like 30+ more police just waiting. by the time we finished our meal the police were heading out, so i guess the demonstration didn't end up happening. i don't know. i'm just glad we made it out of there! i'm not sure how crazy demonstrations can get and i don't want to find out!

I've been to the iguana!
I assume Budapest hasn't changed too much if it's still the only Tex-Mex place in town.
The real miracle of the iguana being that it has frozen, mixed drinks (right?) - something rather hard to find on the Continent!
Funny that Budapest has the same number of tex-mex restaurants as Tucson...;)
I'm so glad you got a taste of home--now I'm craving it too!
I must say that the picture or Reese standing by herself on the sidewalk has got to be the cutest picture ever!!! Hope you guys are doing great. Bill Bell
