túró rudi

túró rudi is a hungarian candy bar that we like. it is túró covered with chocolate. túró is the hungarian equivalent to cottage cheese, but it's sweeter and the curds aren't big. i think it is mostly used in desserts and pastries. i realize cottage cheese and chocolate might not sound very appealing, but it's not actually cottage cheese. it's good. you can obviously tell from the picture that someone with little fingers likes them! it would be hard to bring these home for friends and family to try because it's better to eat them cold. you find them by the yogurts at the store. here's a picture of the inside...

I LOVED these things!! I also gained about 15 pounds while I lived in Hungary--think those two things are related?

reese gets to have 2 bites, maybe 3 if she hasn't had a sweet in a while, but we have something sweet very often here! there are always new goodies to try!
