one thing about this pic... it might look deceiving with me holding reese. i definitely don't hold her very much these days. it's a bit awkward and she's also getting really heavy! matt gained some good muscle on vacation carrying her everywhere. most of the time it was easier to not take the stroller because of all the stairs.
how do i feel at 35 weeks pregnant with our second child you ask? well, a bit all over the map. i'm pretty emotional and tired. i'm excited to meet the new baby and so curious if it's a boy or a girl. i'm frustrated and impatient with reese, but that's been going a lot better the past few days. i'm grieving that these are my last few weeks with my sweet baby girl all to myself and i don't want to be impatient and upset with her. the lord has really answered our prayers and given me much more patience and reese obedience in the last few days. it's been really sweet and she's been a bit clingy to me. might she be sensing somethings going on??? i'm scared of handling two children and i'm even doubly scared of getting to the hospital on time! if you don't know my history, i have contractions and don't feel them and i deliver babies quick once my water is broken! needless to say i'm a bit nervous about not having a car, so we have to take a taxi to the hospital that's 35 minutes way when there's no traffic. that leaves the possibility of delivering in the taxi! scary! i'm feeling relieved at the moment though because i just got back from taking a stress test at the doctor. apparently this is something very normal here, but i've never done it before. it measures the baby's heartbeat and me for contractions. results of the test: the baby had a strong heartbeat and i had no contractions! yay! i'm comforted that the doctor will monitor me pretty closely, especially since reese came two weeks early. in two weeks i'll be going to the doctor three times a week! it seems like too much and will be a pain to go that often, but i want to so i can avoid the whole taxi scenario! that pretty much sums up me at 35 weeks. we still have a bit of organizing to do, but that's happening this weekend.
thank you for all your prayers and support, even if most of you are back in the states. i feel your thoughts and love way over in budapest.

You look great! Praying for you guys daily....don't worry, delivering babies in a taxi only happens on tv :) I am glad your Dr. is watching you closely though, don't want to test the theroy since I just made it up.
based on the way you are carrying...i'm betting on a boy! I think you look great...
You look great!
Definitely praying for y'all and I'm sad that there will be a delayed in-person meeting of the new Dowiak...don't forget, if it's a boy, the name is "Cash Money" :-)!
