we took this picture while shopping at H&M last weekend. he's bored of shopping already?! yep, he's a male for sure. :)
matson may look tiny over here in this picture (click link), but really he's not! he weighed 3.83 kilos at birth (8 lbs. 7 oz.) and at his 15 day check up he far surpassed getting back to his birth weight! he now weighs 4.4 kilos (9 lbs. 11 oz.)! wow! we could definitely tell he had grown, but man, that's a lot! the doctor actually told me to cut out a night feeding because he's big enough. ha! easy for her to say. she suggested i give him water at night to tide him over. interesting. i haven't tried it yet. i decided to keep his feedings to every 3 1/2 hours instead of every 3 hours. that extra thirty minutes really helps too. it feels like i have a little extra time between feedings - nice. i remember that with reese too, but she was more like 3 or 4 months old when we switched to the 3 1/2 hour schedule.

Hilary: I think is gaining right on schedule, at a rate of two pounds a month. He is not at all fat, just perfect!! Storing it up for when he starts movin' and groovin'
