last night

for reese, everything happened last night. we went to mcdonald's last night, we went to the park last night, she went on a date with dad last night, she rode the tram last night, etc, etc. i'm not sure where she got that, but she says it all the time.

her speech is getting better and better. not that she has ever had a lack for words, but it's amazing how much she grows in just one week! her current favorite things to say are "i can't believe it!" and "oh my goodness!" she doesn't forget a thing either. if you tell her she can have a chocolate after nap or watch barney after breakfast or (currently) play in the snow later, she remembers! that also means i know she knows the rules, but sometimes has a lack of good judgment when it comes to standing on the chairs or getting on the bed when she's not supposed to, etc.

i took these pictures at the park last weekend before it turned ridiculously cold. i can't believe this many turned out so good. usually she only cooperates for pictures when SHE wants me to take her picture. she is actually becoming quite the photographer herself. i let her play with my old small camera and have taught her how to take a picture and view it. occasionally she gets a good pic, but most of the time it's of the floor b/c there is such a delay until the picture is finally taken it ends up angled down. no wonder i got a new, fast camera to capture my children!

Ok, Reese is sooooo photogenic. If Lilly knows I'm taking a pic of her, she either hides her face or gives me the worst fake smile, with eyes closed. I have to try to catch her by suprise

When our Erin was a baby, she said "lasterday." It was her own interpretation/combination of last night and yesterday.
