also that day saturday aunt suanne and uncle bill came over, so while grandma stayed with the kiddos the rest of us went to the rodeo. unfortunately the concert was pretty lame. none of us knew the artist trace adkins, but we had a good time watching the bull riding, barrel racing, cafe scramble, wagon race and simply going out sans kids. on the way up to our nosebleed seats we ran into long time friends from saudi arabia days, raymond + sheila stevens, and low and behold brandi was in town from london! great surprise! the last time we saw her was in budapest last easter. in great stevens fashion, brandi managed to snap a pic in the five minutes we chatted.

I was chatting with the dental hygienist while having my teeth cleaned last week and she happened to be from Arabia too - small world :) She is 6 years older than us but we knew a good amount of the same people.
I can't believe that Matson smiles for the camera. What a ham. Diego doesn't do that. I'll have to post some of his very serious looks.
