time

i wish i had more time to update this blog. every time i sit down in silence during my kids' nap time i end up taking a short (sometimes long) nap myself. the peaceful silence automatically makes my eyes close.



we've also been really busy lately and i don't see it slowing down anytime soon.



update on matson: he's doing totally fine. he had a check up at the doctor this morning and the doc said his hand looks good, for which i am thankful. what i'm trying to figure out though is why he is the BEST patient at the doctor letting the doc cut his bandage off and pull his hand open and he doesn't make a peep! but when matt or i tell him it's time to clean his hand he immediately says, "no!" and runs and then proceeds to SCREAM his head off while we take the bandages off. what's up with that??? once we have the bandage off he's fine with us cleaning it and all, but golly, what a pistol about starting the process. once we are all finished he is the sweetest thing ever - he initiates big hugs with us. i think it's his way of showing us he's thankful that we took care of him. we LOVE it!! i should mention this is a family event. reese is our nurse getting the drying cloth, medicine, bandages, tape, etc. when we need them. it really is a sweet, bonding time for our family.
