beach part II: getting there

getting to the beach actually went really well considering we had to wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning to get to the airport. our departure was 6:25 AM! i think that departure time is horrible even as an adult traveling by myself, but even worse with two small kids! the only thing that really made it better was we had matt's parents and brother with us. extra hands always help!

and i loved him getting a little energy out during our layover in atlanta.

after we landed in newport news, va we rented cars and drove down to duck.
we made a few stops, one of which was to a fruit stand.
the fruit was eaten up on the first day!
