our little parrot

poppy called it right. matson is a little parrot. he repeats everything we say, and it's adorable! i love seeing him learn and develop. he's so curious. i think the question he asks the most is, "doing?" he even yelled at our neighbor who was up on his roof, "mr. simpson! doing?" he loves saying hi to our neighbors too. he's precious.

he's also very good at repeating our prayers. that's something we do in our house a lot. we all take turns leading a prayer while the others repeat. matson mostly repeats right now, though i'm sure he'll lead soon. for now he just makes his request every time to thank god for the plants and flowers.

some of the other things matson is saying right now: 1,2,3,GO!, reeseylou, watch a toon, ymca, read to you, poopy, stinky, movie night, matson do it, mommy do it, and a whole slew of other things, but those are some phrases we hear a lot.
