swimming lessons

the kids finished their two-week everyday swim class today. yea! i'm so proud of them and myself. it's been a hall to get to swim class every day for two weeks which has been during our normal nap time. did i mention it's across town? i have to go through the galleria area both ways. if you live in houston (or ever have) you know the kind of traffic nightmare i'm talking about. i'm so glad we did it and i'm so glad it's over. now we go on to the maintenance classes, which is once or twice a week which i can handle.

the kids had the same teacher even though they are on different levels. one was at 2:30 and one at 3:00, which meant that we were there for an hour. again, glad it's over. miss michelle was absent the day i brought my camera so mr. anthony got in the photos. both teachers did great with the kids and the kids loved both of them. we'll be seeing them around the pool this summer and maybe have them as teachers again.

matson, my guppy who has graduated to a goldfish...

today matson slipped under the water while he was playing on the side step, which is what they do while they wait for their turn, so mr. anthony, who was one of the lifeguards on duty, grabbed his arm and pulled him up out of the water. it scared matson pretty bad and he cried a while, but he pulled it together. i felt terrible b/c i was actually sitting right there, but was distracted talking, which makes me thankful for the lifeguards!

all this swimming has me excited about pool time this summer!
