little bro

who knew matson talks so much? he's been so inquisitive and verbal since reese has been gone all day. he starts firing questions at me the moment she gets out of the car and doesn't stop until nap time. why? what? when? who? how long? which way?  by about 11:00 i'm sorta done answering questions. :) the second day at lunch i don't think i said one word during lunch. he just told me story after story while i nodded and enjoyed his company. so cute!

little man chose to wear two different shoes on reese's first day of school. not a battle i wanted to take on that morning. he inherited the flipflops from his cousin brody the weekend before and wouldn't really wear any other shoes. unfortunately we left one at a party that weekend so until we got the other one back, this was his solution.  it's pretty cute huh?  here he is after we left reesey in her class. while mom had a little cry he ran around in the blue commons room, which is where reese hangs out before school.

i'm enjoying my time with just matson buddy. he's a really cool kid!
