alphabet bus

This little alphabet bus has been around for a few years, but was recently rediscovered by Matson. He and I had a great time putting the alphabet together to solve the missing letter mystery. 

Come to find out it was the F, not the T, which was misplaced at the beginning of the alphabet. (I think I was getting some coffee at that point. :) Matson was pumped about solving the mystery.

He is so cute, he's is like a sponge right now. He is picking up so many concepts with letters, sounds, spelling, rhyming, numbers, adding, etc. He hears us talking with Reese all the time about spelling, reading, math, etc. that his little mind is soaking it all up.

With this particular activity we hit on ALL those concepts and I have to admit it was a proud mother moment.

He finished the fun time with trying to balance the M for Matson and monkey on his knee. I love you buddy and am so proud of you!

I'm also proud of myself for strategically taking these pictures to cover up the fact that Matson was in his undies for this activity. Although I've done it before, I'm not a huge fan of putting pics up of my children in their undies, so I feel like I aced this one! :)
