Matson buddy's first day of school was a good one. He must have asked me 50 times before we left if it was time to go yet. He was very excited to have all the same boys in his class from last year. They are quite a crew together.
He didn't want his hair brushed for pictures.
He cooperated for a little while.
Then he found a little sand and wouldn't take anymore pictures.
I finally coerced him and he gave me a few more cute smiles.
He's gotten so tall.
He didn't want to take any pictures without the sign so we played peek-a-boo to see if I could catch his face. I had to be quick.
Matson's preschool is a great little place. It's the same place he was last year and where Reese was the two years before that. There are four classes and only 12 children in his class. I think it's six girls and six boys. One girl was missing from this picture.
His classroom is awesome! Mrs. Heath has put together a great room for the children to explore all areas of their imagination. Here's one picture of Matson on the first day of school phoning his friend, Susie.
Matson, Layla and I have enjoyed walking to school a couple days last week. He rides his scooter, I walk and Layla rides in the stroller. It's the perfect little thing to kick me back into a workout routine. It's a little over a half mile one way and I ran a small portion of it both days just to race Matson. Oh my was I hurting the next day! Shows me how bad of shape I am in! I hope to keep this up and extend my route home to get an even better workout. Just in time for some nice fall weather!
