First & Last :: Matson

Here is Matson on his first day of preschool...

And then on the last day...  (I forgot to use the little chalkboard :( but I got a great shot of him so that's okay!)

He doesn't have as much of a change as he did last year, but I can see some growth. Those legs have gotten a bit longer and faster, but he still has the same pretty blue eyes and the same sweet smile.

Matson had a great last year of preschool. He went through a wild streak during the middle of the year testing his teacher and getting in trouble with his buddies, but he worked hard to come out of that and I am happy to report that he did! His teacher reports that he's a good student, is helpful and works hard at his work. She says he will finish his work and then start helping the other kids. He has a hard time apologizing for things and gets really embarrassed when he's put on the spot or has all attention brought to him. He's a lot like me in those regards.  

I think he will miss preschool. I know I will! His school is such a sweet, small place and they did the cutest activites and crafts and gardening. It was our fourth year there with Reese having been there for two years and then Matson the following two years. It will be nice having them at the same school next year though. They are looking forward to it! 

Now he's on to KINDERGRTEN!! Whoa!
