menu planning monday

i confess i sneak around on random strangers' blogs on the internet. i'm sure most of you do it too. ;) the blogs are typically friends of friends or something like that, but anyway, i got the idea of of posting what i have planned for my menu this week from a strangers' blog. if you would like any of the recipes that i post, please let me know and i'll share with you.

monday: breaded tilapia, roasted asparagus, and orange glazed carrots (YUM! it was pretty easy and it turned out great!)

tuesday: spaghetti with meatballs (i make a ton of meatballs at once and then freeze them for future spaghetti nights.)

wednesday: chicken with paprika sauce over egg noodles and a salad.

thursday: eggplant-ricotta bake and a salad (i'll make an extra to freeze)

friday: leftovers

saturday: i'll take saturday off!

sunday: easter - eating with friends and i don't know what i'm responsible for yet.

i hope this is helpful for friends who don't like to plan their meals out. i can do it for you and you can copy me if you want. :) i typically go to the grocery store on sunday or monday. my newest idea is to have fish on the night i go to the store so it is fresh.

We have fish the day before garbage day so that our trash doesn't smell fishy all week.

sarah, that's funny! i might just switch to your way of doing things when we move into a house and have a "garbage day". i currently have a live in garbageman who will run the trash to the dumpster for me. :)
