matt + i love the picnic time of the year and are so excited it's here! he didn't get to join us on our first picnic of the year, but hopefully we can treat him this weekend. kelli + scarlet joined us on monday for a picnic on margaret island, a large island in the middle of the danube river, just a short walk away from our home. the weather was perfect - warm, breezy. we sat under a huge green tree in a large open field and soaked up being outside. it was beautiful! reese probably had the best time running all around occasionally coming back for a bite to eat. in the pic above she took her grapes with her and sat on a tree stump to eat. what a big girl. she also enjoyed feeding scarlet her lunch. we had to monitor the size of bites she gave scarlet, but i'd say she did a great job.

oh my goodness! she looks like such a little girl . . . and a beautiful one at that! the park sounds fantastic! imagine - you'll be able to enjoy it all summer instead of just thru May like in Texas!
i clicked on your link to margaret island and was surprised at how much younger reese looked back then. she is growing into such a big sister. cute crocs, too.
i agree w/ jessica - super enjoy your summer weather for us!!! remember when isa would feed reese when we were at that little sandwich shop next to the black lab on montrose? i can't believe now reese is feeding someone else!
