waffle time

reesey LOVES to help me in the kitchen as you can tell from her proud smile. we both have our aprons on and reese gets to stand at the counter with mom. this time we were making waffles - one of her favorites. i measure the correct amounts and she dumps it in the bowl. she's pretty good at pouring the ingredients in, it's the stirring that makes the mess. i'll make a mess with her any day just to see that smile!



p.s. we love this shot b/c it shows our cool (yet small) kitchen and what it typically looks like - messy. one nice thing about a small kitchen is that it doesn't take that long to clean. the challenge is keeping it clean!
