we are in total pack/move mode right now, so not much time for blogging, as you can tell. up until today we have actually been functioning as normal. well, as normal as we can with a big move coming very soon. we have lots of different emotions going on about moving. we are soaking up every last minute we have in budapest. we know we will miss it...a lot. more on that later.
reese wants to go to gram's house really bad. we made the mistake of telling her we are going to gram's house soon, so that's all she talks about right now. she's so smart and doesn't skip a beat. she knows how to work the dvd player, the cases and the remotes and totally helps herself. she answers the phone when it rings. when dad calls on his way home from work she tells him what to pick up from the supermarket. seriously, if we've run out of milk or orange juice for breakfast she remembers and tells him to pick some up on his way home. she knows the drill. gosh, am i going to miss matt stopping at the fruit stand and supermarket on his way home from work! it's a little different in the states asking matt to stop on his way home. here it only adds maybe 10-15 minutes onto his commute. who knows how long it would take at home with cars, parking lots, etc. anyway...
matson baby is just chewin' on his feet, drooling EVERYWHERE so we have bibs and burp cloths within reach at all times and continues to be so darn cute. he's rolling from his back to his stomach a lot, but not so much from stomach to back. it's that little head of his. he's always looking left and gets its so far back that his little body flips right over. his left arm gets stuck a lot so he lets us know when he needs help. he's so precious i don't mind though. :) he's started to suck his left thumb a lot lately. i like it. he stays quiet longer in the mornings letting me sleep past 7:00. :)
matt's wrapping up things at work and getting all things administrative done for our move.
i've been to the christmas market all by myself three times this week buying more and more stuff. each time i go i discover more things that i have to have. it's such a neat market. i've had to say a lot of good-byes this week. it is no fun leaving friends. :( more on that later too.
okay, i'm totally procrastinating this darn inventory list i have to do. it's too hard think about what we will take with us on the plane, what goes in our air and sea freights and what is our landlords that stays here. we've kind of left it until the very end to have a few stressful days instead of lots of stressful days. i think it's better that way. bye!
