bye, bye curls #2

another monumental haircut has occurred in our family for...{drum roll please}...REESE! at over three and a half years old i figured it was time to have her hair cut for the very first time! kind of shocking i know to not have her hair cut for so long, but i loved the curls at the end and it was so pretty. but, combing through the awful knots and tangles was getting to be too much. matt had already handed over the hair washing to me. {i've handed it back now though!}

we went to a kids haircut place in round rock while we were at my parents. the place was so cute and we were the only ones in there which made it nice. i'm considering going back there each time b/c then we can get spoiled at gram and papa's again! the lollipop was what really made reese want to get her hair cut. she heard about matson's lollipop, so she happily took her turn.
look at those cute curls on her head! they are all gone now. :( i didn't cry about loosing hers but i do miss them!

matson was entertained with the trains while sister got the treatment. he's very into trains right now and loves playing with them at the ymca.


would you believe she had FIVE inches cut off! shows how long it really was! i considered for a moment doing the "locks for love" thing, but that would have made her hair really short, so i passed.
