one proud momma!

these pictures were taken back during layla's second week of life. see her umbilical cord? i'm still as proud today as i was then. layla is wonderful and such a joyful addition to our family. i know i may say that on every post, but it's so true!

i am doing well balancing all my mom duties, but i couldn't do it without the help of so many people. our family has been blessed with countless meals from family and friends and rides for the kiddos to and from school. grandma and poppy have been a blessing as well. one day i got a call from matson's school saying he was hurt and i needed to come get him. with the lord's perfect timing, dave and lori pulled up on the drive way just to ask a quick question right as i was on the phone with the school director. they flew into action and went to pick matson up for me. they have also consoled a crying baby, cooked us dinner, and babysitting the kids for an evening while matt and i went out for a couple hours. and the best blessing of all...a dedicated dad who is stepping up to the plate and fullfilling his fatherly responsiblities so beautifuly! again, i couldn't do it without all this help.  it takes a village!
