today - thursday

today was a good day. first up was our normal breakfast and a nap (at least for reese). then we had our friends, lisa, june, erin & james come over for lunch and playtime. i was amazed at how big june & james are and lisa & erin were amazed at how small reese is. it's so fun to see your friend's babies growing! these gals are good for me b/c i get to get good advice from them, like today i was finding out all about starting reese on solid foods which starts right after christmas!






after lunch and another nap, reese and i took a walk to the post office to mail a christmas present. it was a beautiful day, but a little warm. jeans are not the best to walk in, but who would think you would get hot in the middle of december with just jeans, a t-shirt and flip flops on?! anyway....




another nap and then to our favorite park. it's kind of our new thing to go to the park and swing. reese likes it! i've also noticed she's picked up on the big kids at the park. she just watches and watches! it's so cute!

...and what would a swinging picture be without drool??? i took a bunch of pictures and every one of them had drool hanging down! i guess the game in the swing is "how low can you go?" :) the first picture wins! it's off the picture!
