malta

who knows where malta is? if you do, you get a gold star! it's not a very big place and therefore not very well known to people other than europeans. we recently enjoyed a trip to the maltese islands, which are located in the mediterranean sea just south of sicily, italy. we were hoping for better weather so we could at least be out on the beach in our clothes playing in the sand, but unfortunately it was colder and wetter than our hopes. malta is a beautiful place with lots of character, as you will be able to see in the photos, and i'm sure is even more beautiful when it's warm and sunny. despite the weather we enjoyed some relaxing time swimming in the indoor pool, getting massages, and exploring the main island. click on the picture below to see the album and then click on "slideshow" above the first pic.

Site of Paul's shipwreck from biblical times.
Bill has a friend from Malta who returns there every year for a visit with his family. Hope you get to enjoy it again when the weather is sunny.
Have a great time with M. & K.
