this is reese's first vegetable to bring home from school - a radish. her kindergarten class has a garden where they planted radishes, lettuce, carrots, snap peas, and a few other things. this was the first veggie ready to harvest. each child in the class got to bring one home. she was so proud of it and i was surprised how big it was. reese so kindly shared it with us at dinner so we could all have a taste. it was fresh and delicious! she and matson actually ate the most pieces.
can't wait to see what she brings home next.
